National Teach Ag Day

It’s the 2017 National #TeachAg Day celebration!  Join the Wyoming FFA and others across the nation as we celebrate one of our greatest assets – the ag teacher!

Agriculture teachers have the unique opportunity to not only teach students, but also share their passion for agriculture in and out of the classroom. Through the three-circle model of instruction, agriculture teachers are able to provide their students with classroom knowledge, leadership and experiential learning experiences unlike any other career and technical program.

From dissecting the digestive tract of a ruminant animal to spending hours traveling to and from conferences and conventions, agriculture teachers are more than teachers. They are mentors and leaders for our budding generations of agriculturalists, schools, and communities. Being an agriculture teacher is more than a job, it is a lifestyle choice that deserves to be celebrated.
