Junior High Career Development Event Opportunities
The Wyoming FFA Association will offer a “Junior High Contest” for 7th and 8th grade students in Horse Evaluation, Livestock Evaluation, Meat Evaluation and Poultry Evaluation. These students will not give reasons, but one should review the Wyoming CDE manuals for contest rules and regulations. One team per chapter.
Sweepstakes Award Information
Chapters participating in the Career Development Event Sweepstakes must compete in five of the following eleven areas: Agricultural Technology and Mechanical Systems, Meat Evaluation, Livestock Evaluation, Horse Evaluation, Poultry Evaluation, Farm and Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Sales, Agronomy, Environmental & Natural Resources, Veterinary Science and Marketing Plan (2013). The chapter with the highest placing in five of the eleven areas will win the sweepstakes.
