Fall Leadership Conferences

Fall is when Wyoming FFA hits its stride.

Our Fall Leadership Conferences are designed to meet members where they are—whether they’re just stepping into the blue jacket for the first time or ready to sharpen their leadership voice and skills.

Each conference offers something different, but they all share the same purpose: helping members grow in confidence, connection, and capability. From discovering what FFA can be, to learning how to lead within a chapter, to strengthening personal leadership skills, these experiences are built to be practical, engaging, and memorable.

Explore Discover, CPC, and FIRE below to find the experience that fits your members best.

DISCOVERY CONFERENCE

For middle school members

Discovery is designed for members who are new to FFA—or new to seeing what FFA can really offer. This conference focuses on belonging, exploration, and understanding the bigger picture of what it means to be part of an FFA chapter.

The Discovery Conference is about curiosity, confidence-building, and realizing there’s a place for everyone in FFA.

Members will:

  • learn the foundations of FFA
  • build connections with peers
  • begin to see how leadership, service, and personal growth show up in everyday moments.

FIRE CONFERENCE

For freshmen and sophomore members

FIRE (Finding Inspiration and Reaching Excellence) is all about lighting the spark. This conference helps members build personal leadership skills while gaining confidence.

Through interactive sessions and hands-on learning, members explore career pathways and put leadership to action. FIRE Conference challenges students to think about who they are, how they lead, and how they can positively influence the people and communities around them—starting right where they are.

Members will:

  • explore career pathways
  • connect with members of business and industry
  • how they can positively influence the people and communities around them

Chapter Presidents’ Conference

For chapter presidents and other chapter officers

Chapter Presidents’ Conference (CPC) is designed for chapter officers who are ready to lead with purpose. This conference focuses on the practical skills needed to guide a chapter—planning effectively, working as a team, and leading peers with integrity and clarity.

CPC equips chapter leaders with tools they can take home and use immediately to support their members and strengthen their chapters.

Members will:

  • dig into real-world leadership scenarios
  • strengthen decision-making skills
  • learn how to balance responsibility with collaboration
  • discuss, debate, and conduct Wyoming FFA business
