WYOMING FFA CONVENTION INTERN APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
There’s a kind of electricity that only exists when 2,400 people gather in one place because they love FFA the way you love FFA. You feel it before the first convention ever starts.
As an intern, you don’t just feel it build. You help build it.
You’re hauling stage pieces. Checking doors. Answering the same question three different ways. You’re focused on being useful, on doing your job well, on not being the reason something falls apart.
And then the convention hall opens.
The energy rushes in like a winter squall. Laughter. Chatter. Hugs. Sixteen hundred members pouring into the Events Center at Archer in those beautiful blue jackets, walking through the doors like they belong there — because they do.
That’s usually the first moment it hits.
“This is bigger than me.”
And you feel it all week. The joy. The pride. The steady satisfaction of knowing you’re part of something amazing.
Then comes officer elections. You don’t know most of the candidates. You don’t have a favorite. And somehow your stomach is still in knots. You’re backstage trying to look steady while your heart pounds for kids who were brave enough to put their names on the line.
By the end of the week, you understand something you didn’t on day one.
Convention isn’t just bright lights and big moments. It’s the quiet team behind the curtain choosing, over and over, to serve well. It’s shared exhaustion and inside jokes and the kind of pride that swells in your chest when you see a freshman walk a little taller in his jacket or a senior clutch an award to her chest.
You show up thinking you’re there to help. You leave knowing you were part of something that mattered.
State Convention intern applications are open.
This is how we elevate.
