Wyoming FFA Members Recognized at National FFA Convention

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Wyoming FFA members were among more than 73,000 participants who gathered in Indianapolis for the 97th National FFA Convention & Expo, held Oct. 29–Nov. 1, 2025. Members represented their local chapters and the state through competitions, award programs, performances, and service.

“Wyoming FFA members continue to show that our programs prepare students to compete,  and succeed, at the highest levels,” said Wyoming FFA State Advisor Stacy Broda. “Their results at the National FFA Convention reflect years of work in local classrooms, support from dedicated advisors, and a commitment to learning that goes far beyond the blue jacket.”

Career and Leadership Development Events (CDE/LDE)

Several Wyoming teams and individuals earned recognition in national competitions:

  • Casper FFA – Gold Emblem Team, Meats Evaluation and Technology.  Team members were Garrett Burkett, Teagan Campbell, Nathan Danford, and Lorelai Wolf.
  • Casper FFA – Gold Emblem Team, Parliamentary Procedure.  Team members were Trever Campbell, Carter Cox, Cooper Cox, Jillian Lopez, Landyn Markwardt, and Kason Weber.
  • Casper FFA – Bronze Emblem Team, Veterinary Science. Team members were Megan Hedges, Emerson Hornecker, Kadin Pollock, and Samantha Toombs.
  • Cheyenne Frontier FFAReserve National Champions/Gold Emblem Team, Agricultural Issues ForumTeam members were Regan Allen, Brody Medina, Danielle Mehtala, Alexandra Micheli, Cooper Miller, Hannah Schick, and Brendan Nagy. 
  • Cheyenne Frontier FFABronze Emblem Team, Environment and Natural ResourcesTeam members were Gage Broda, Cooper Huck, Colton Schick, and Colby Thompson. 
  • Cheyenne Frontier FFA 5th Place/Gold Emblem Team, Horse Evaluation. Team members were Charlotte Ehlman, Abbygail Morrow, Callie Rosner, and Katalyna Wolski.
  • Douglas FFA Bronze Emblem Team, Agriculture Sales.  Team members were Haylee Gibbs, Raelea Taylor, Megan Stoltenberg, and Elza Moffatt.
  • Paintrock FFA – Silver Emblem Team, Farm and Agribusiness Management. Team members were Guadalupe Jimenez, Maycee McKim, Nicholas Olmstead, and Brendan Powell.
  • Snowy Range FFA7th Place/Gold Emblem Team, Agricultural Technology and Mechanical Systems. Team members were James Coxbill, Mason Kern, David Parker, and James Vasek.
  • Snowy Range FFASilver Emblem Team, Conduct of Chapter Meetings. Team members were Shea Churches, Charlie Coxbill, Taylor Kimzey, Bryce Kunkel, Lainey Scasta, Adelaide Vasek, and Ashlyn Wheat.
  • Snowy Range FFA10th Place/Gold Emblem Team, Livestock Evaluation. Team members were Jadyn Lake, Riley Lake, Caden Miller, and Shanna Stinson.
  • Snowy Range FFASilver Emblem Team, Marketing Plan. Team members were Chayne Webb, Piper Henschel, and Cele Montgomery.
  • Snowy Range FFASilver Emblem Team, Poultry Evaluation. Team members were Dax Evertson, Emma Johnson, Audrey Roaque, and Wyatt Strain.
  • Torrington-Lingle FFASilver Emblem Team, Agronomy.  Team members were Kaleb Booth, Wittni Bugher, Conner Correll, and Carter Groene.
  • Makayla Curless, Burns FFA Silver Emblem Individual, Creed Speaking
  • Dani Santee, Riverton FFA Silver Emblem Individual, Employment Skills

Agriscience Fair

Wyoming came home with two national champions in the Agriscience Fair, along with other top ten finishes.

American FFA Degree Recipients

The American FFA Degree is the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization. It recognizes members who have demonstrated exceptional agricultural and leadership achievement. Wyoming congratulates the following recipients:

Chapter Awards

Several Wyoming chapters were recognized in the national chapter award program.

Honorary American FFA Degree

Damein Christen, agriculture education instructor and FFA advisor in Shoshoni, received the Honorary American FFA Degree in recognition of outstanding service to agricultural education and FFA members.

National FFA Band, Chorus, and Talent

Wyoming members were also represented in the National FFA Band, Chorus, and Talent programs, which feature students selected through a national audition process.

  • LLMN Band, Ten Sleep FFA, National FFA Talent.  Band members are Layne Jordan, Liam Jordan, Matthew Blutt, and Nicholas Blutt.

National FFA Delegates

Several Wyoming FFA State Officers participated as voting delegates for the state, representing Wyoming. The delegates were: Tymber Eckley, Hayden Hubbard, Kaylee Rasnake, and Bridger Wolfley.

State officer Amy Peldo spent her week attending events and supporting all of Wyoming’s chapters at their competitive events and awards.

“Wyoming chapters may come from small schools and rural communities, but they continue to make a big impact nationally,” Broda says. “These results show what’s possible when students are given opportunities to learn by doing, and when communities stand behind them every step of the way.”

The Wyoming FFA Association includes more than 4,600 members in 64 chapters across the state. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
